About This Role
Become a Shared Living Provider and open your home to an adult with intellectual disabilities (ID), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or other developmental disabilities. This is a deeply rewarding role where you become part of a client daily life, supporting their goals and community integration under OADS Sections 20, 21, and 29.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, supportive home environment for the individual
- Support daily living activities, community participation, and personal goals
- Communicate regularly with R&K staff and the client support team
- Attend required trainings and maintain certification
- Complete required documentation and monthly reports
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older with a stable, safe home environment
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to long-term support
- Willingness to complete required OADS trainings and background checks
- Valid Maine driver license and reliable transportation
- No prior experience required — full training and ongoing support provided by R&K
